As we go into summer please remember that any art-making will help keep your creative juices flowing.

CHALLENGE: This week I challenge you to draw a person. It can be a self-portrait or a drawing of a family member, friend, or favorite character. EXPLORATION: Keith Haring used people as the inspiration for much of his artwork. His cartoony and colorful creations showed a lot of energy and movement. CHALLENGE: Build something! Use materials from around the house. Make it large or small. EXPLORATION: Art installation is artwork that can take up a whole room. It can change an environment and can sometimes be touched and moved. Starting next week I will be sending out art challenges to your teachers to pass on to you. Not everyone has art supplies at home so for these challenges you will only need something to draw with and something to draw on. Get creative and use what is around you!
