It has been a busy and exciting start to the long winter. Artists have been exploring different cultural traditions, like Polish Wycinanki Paper Cuts (pronounced Vee-chee-non-kee). Some functional art being created as well. Felt strip coasters were wrapped with holiday cheer to spread the artistic love. Ms. Dziadosz did some of her own art making to create a juke box for the school Musical Celebration. Of course, some classic winter art themes have been covered as well, including: the work of Norman Rockwell, snowman chalk drawings, winter landscape painting, and polar bears in front of the aurora borealis (northern lights)
