Welcome back!  This week is all about natural art.  Choose an art activity  and check back next Monday for more at home art options.  Of course, you are welcome to do as many of the options as you like!

CHALLENGE:  Create an artwork using natural materials.  Like Andy Goldsworthy.  This is one of my favorite ways to create art.  Please send me pix of what you do.  This bird was created by my niece.

EXPLORATION: The Hidden World of the National Parks provides a virtual tour of some of the most amazing natural art forms that can be found.

STEP-BY-STEP:  Draw a beautiful sunset scene with palm trees and the ocean.  This example uses oil pastels but you can use any coloring or painting materials that you have.

CREATE ONLINE:  This is sand allows you to make a landscape using falling sand online.  These take a little while to make but the results are beautiful!  https://thisissand.com/

ART CONTEST:  Try your hand at an Ocean Awareness Art Contest
https://bowseat.org/programs/ocean-awareness-contest/overview/

I'd love to see some of your finished artworks.  If you'd like to send a picture you can contact me on the Ms. Dziadosz page.

I also started a gallery for artwork that is being completed at home.  Check out what your classmates have created!

Missing You!

It has been quite a while since we have been able to be together, but that doesn't mean that we can't continue to create!  Making art is a GREAT way to keep your mind working hard when there isn't much else to do.  There are a number of links to check out on the "Art Links" page.

Starting next week I will be sending out art challenges to your teachers to pass on to you.  Not everyone has art supplies at home so for these challenges you will only need something to draw with and something to draw on.  Get creative and use what is around you!

As always, you can contact me through the "Ms. Dziadosz" page.  Feel free to send me pictures of any and all artwork you are making.  I miss seeing your creations!  I can even post them here on our Hedke Art site!
