Welcome back! This week is all about natural art. Choose an art activity and check back next Monday for more at home art options. Of course, you are welcome to do as many of the options as you like! CHALLENGE: Create an artwork using natural materials. Like Andy Goldsworthy. This is one of my favorite ways to create art. Please send me pix of what you do. This bird was created by my niece. EXPLORATION: The Hidden World of the National Parks provides a virtual tour of some of the most amazing natural art forms that can be found. https://artsandculture.google.com/project/national-park-service STEP-BY-STEP: Draw a beautiful sunset scene with palm trees and the ocean. This example uses oil pastels but you can use any coloring or painting materials that you have. βhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPlea_vv414 CREATE ONLINE: This is sand allows you to make a landscape using falling sand online. These take a little while to make but the results are beautiful! https://thisissand.com/ β βART CONTEST: Try your hand at an Ocean Awareness Art Contest https://bowseat.org/programs/ocean-awareness-contest/overview/ I'd love to see some of your finished artworks. If you'd like to send a picture you can contact me on the Ms. Dziadosz page. β I also started a gallery for artwork that is being completed at home. Check out what your classmates have created!
